Equipment set today

Today they pulled the deck forms out and installed the equipment (Lights, pump, heater, filter, and new sub panel).

Deck Pour Went Well

The masons started at 7am Thursday and didn't finish up until 7:30 pm.  The cold weather made curing time a little slow.  Can't walk on decks for about 3 days.  Other than that the pour went well.

Went outside in the freezing cold and just starred at the yard.

Forms for deck steps

Concrete forms and Drains

 

 

Wednesday they formed some of the concrete decks an tied in a few drains to the main.  Today I am meeting Donny to finalize the size and shape of decks.  Pictures, when I get home.

 

 

 

 

 

Deck Forms

Gas Company came yesterday and upgraded our meter.  Today, they are laying out the forms for the concrete decks.  Tomorrow I will make any alterations needed.  Hopefully the rain will pass by us.

Grout done

 

Masons finished grouting the tile and flagstone coping on Monday.  Today the 11th, the gas company is coming to upgrade our meter because of the new pool heater.  Donny's guys will be making the forms for the concrete decks and grading the yard.  I think there are a few more drains going in as well.

Stonework almost done...

As of Friday the 7th, coping is in, stacked stone is in, and tile is in.  Staring to look really nice.  Tile will be grouted Monday and then the forming of the decks will begin.  Deck pour slated for next Friday.  Pebble install slated for the following week.  Donny tells me barring any setbacks we should be swimming by X-Mas.  Keep your fingers crossed.

Tile Install

Masons finished puzzling for coping and started tiling today.  Hopefully tile grout will be done tomorrow.  I finished the shed redo and roof re-shingle last night.  Daylight savings is killing me.  I'll try to post pictures tonight.

More coping

Masons finishing up puzzling the spa and back raised bond beam coping.  Tile was delivered and grout samples picked up today.

Spa Coping

Masons worked on the spa coping today after the rain stopped.  Tile should be delivered tomorrow.  Finishing up the shed remodel.  Roofing and paint is left.  Took 2 feet off in length to make out step a little larger.  Damn city inspectors.
